ENGLISH IMMERSION
Children are immersed in English throughout the day, developing their listening and speaking skills naturally through meaningful activities, projects, and play. Rather than studying English in isolation, we use English to explore, create, and interact in a supportive environment. Children of all English levels, from beginners to more experienced learners, are welcome to participate and grow at their own pace.
PHONICS & LITERACY
Through a structured phonics program, children learn how English sounds and letters work together, building a strong foundation for reading and writing. Engaging games, stories, and hands-on activities help children develop confidence while making literacy learning enjoyable and meaningful.
STEAM LEARNING
Through hands-on STEAM activities that combine science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics, children develop creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Each month, they explore a new theme, using English to investigate, experiment, and discover how the world works.
OUTDOOR PLAY & EXPLORATION
Through outdoor play, physical education activities, and active games, children use English naturally while building cooperation, independence, and social skills. During the summer months, swimming and water play provide additional opportunities for movement, exploration, and fun!
PARENT COMMUNICATION
We keep families informed about their child’s learning, activities, and progress through regular communication and updates. By working closely with parents, we create a supportive partnership that helps each child thrive both academically and personally.
LUNCH OPTION
Families may choose to take advantage of our optional lunch service, making busy Saturdays a little easier. With a nutritious meal provided at school, children can focus on learning and having fun while parents enjoy added convenience and peace of mind.
ADDITIONAL OPPORTUNITIES
Through seasonal events, special programs, and Summer School, children use English in new and meaningful ways while enjoying a wide variety of experiences, friendships, and opportunities for personal growth.
Through its partnership with Discovery International School, The Clubhouse draws on years of experience in English immersion education and working with both international and Japanese families in Nagakute.

A DAY AT SATURDAY SCHOOL
At THE CLUBHOUSE Saturday School, children spend their day learning, creating, exploring, and playing in an English-speaking environment. A balanced mix of literacy activities, STEAM projects, outdoor play, and group experiences keeps children engaged while encouraging them to use English naturally throughout the day.
Our Phonics & Literacy and STEAM Activity Time sessions rotate each month. This ensures that children enrolled in either of the Half Day programs experience both literacy development and STEAM/project-based learning over the course of the year.
